Jethro saw that Moses was carrying a load that would eventually exhaust both the leader and the people. The answer included shared responsibility, clear standards and capable people.
Delegation is not abandoning a task. It is documenting the outcome, transferring the knowledge and creating a review point so another person can carry real responsibility well.
