Kingdom Living for children

Kingdom
Kids

Faith for growing hearts.

A safe, joyful place for children and families to discover Scripture, grow in character, learn to pray and practise faith in everyday life.

Parent-guided · Designed for ages 3–12

What children will discover

Built for children. Shared with families.

Kingdom Kids turns biblical truth into experiences children can understand and families can use together—without losing the depth of Scripture.

Parents can begin today

A simple ten-minute family faith time.

You do not need a lesson plan or perfect answers. Start small, stay warm and consistent, and let the conversation grow naturally.

  1. 2 min
    1. Pause

Put devices aside, settle together and choose one short Bible passage.

  2. 3 min
    2. Read

Read slowly. Younger children can listen; older children can take turns.

  3. 3 min
    3. Talk

Ask one open question and listen before explaining or correcting.

  4. 2 min
    4. Pray & live

Pray one short prayer and agree one action for the next day.

Bible Stories

Children meet the people, promises and big truths of Scripture through clear, memorable retellings. Each story points back to who God is and helps children recognise how His Word speaks into everyday life.

“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”

Psalm 119:105

  1. 1

Choose one short story or 6–12 verses and read it slowly together.

  2. 2

Invite your child to retell what happened in their own words—there is no need to make it a test.

  3. 3

Name one truth about God, then choose one way to live that truth today.

Ask

What does this story show us about God, and which person’s choice can we learn from?

Try together

Draw the beginning, middle and end in three boxes. Let your child use the pictures to tell the story back to the family.

Pray together

“God, thank You for Your Word. Help us understand it, remember it and live it today. Amen.”

Prayer Moments

Prayer Moments teach children that they can speak to God with joy, worry, gratitude and questions. The prayers are short enough to repeat, but open enough for children to add their own words.

“Call to me and I will answer you.”

Jeremiah 33:3
What families will findSimple prompts for praise, thanks, asking for help and quietly listening to God.

  1. 1

Thank God for one good thing from the day.

  2. 2

Tell God one honest feeling—happy, sad, worried, cross or excited.

  3. 3

Ask for one person or situation, then sit quietly together for twenty seconds.

Ask

What would you like to thank God for, and where would you like His help?

Try together

Use the five fingers of one hand: praise God, say thank You, ask for help, pray for someone else and finish with ‘Amen’.

Pray together

“Father, thank You for loving us and listening to us. Help us trust You with everything in our hearts. Amen.”

Character & Choices

Faith becomes visible in the choices children make. These lessons explore kindness, courage, honesty, forgiveness and responsibility, helping children pause, think biblically and choose what is right.

“Do what is right, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.”

Micah 6:8

  1. 1

Name the choice clearly: What happened, and what options are available?

  2. 2

Compare each option with Jesus’ way of truth, love, mercy and courage.

  3. 3

Choose one right action, including an apology or repair when something has gone wrong.

Ask

Which choice is loving, truthful and wise—even if it is not the easiest one?

Try together

Act out a common situation such as sharing, telling the truth or including someone. Swap roles and practise a wise response.

Pray together

“Jesus, give us wise hearts and the courage to do what is right. Help our choices show Your love. Amen.”

Family Activities

Faith grows stronger when families practise it together. These activities turn each lesson into a shared experience through conversation, creativity, service and simple challenges that work in ordinary homes.

“As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

  1. 1

Choose one fifteen-minute family time during the week and keep it simple.

  2. 2

Let different family members read, answer, pray or choose the activity.

  3. 3

Finish by agreeing one act of kindness or service to complete together.

Ask

Who could our family encourage, help or pray for this week?

Try together

Make a kindness jar. Write simple actions on paper—help with a job, send encouragement, share or pray—and choose one together.

Pray together

“Lord, make our home a place of love, patience and service. Show us how to bless someone this week. Amen.”

Three age pathways

The same truth, shared at the right level.

Each pathway keeps the message faithful while adapting the language, questions and activities for a child’s stage of development.

01Ages 3–5

Little Lights

Short stories, one big truth, simple repetition and playful activities help early learners know that God loves them, hears them and is with them.

“Let your light shine before others.”

Matthew 5:16

5–10 minutes · Read aloud · Repeat, move and play

Parent guide: start today
Keep it age-appropriate
  • Use one sentence: ‘God loves me and helps me shine.’ Repeat it together three times.
  • Ask one simple question and welcome a one-word, pointing or picture answer.
  • End while your child is still engaged; repetition matters more than covering lots of material.
Questions to ask

“Who loves you?”

“What kind thing can we do today?”

Try today

Turn on a torch or small light in a dim room. Explain that kind words and helpful actions can shine God’s love. Choose one kind action to do together.

Pray together

“Jesus, thank You for loving me. Help me shine with kind words and kind hands. Amen.”

02Ages 6–8

Growing Disciples

Bible discovery, guided questions and practical challenges help children connect what they believe with how they speak, learn, play and treat others.

“Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him.”

Colossians 2:7

10–15 minutes · Read together · Discuss and practise

Parent guide: start today
Keep it age-appropriate
  • Take turns reading a few verses and help with unfamiliar words without interrupting every sentence.
  • Ask your child to explain the main idea in their own words before offering your answer.
  • Connect the lesson to one real place: home, school, friendship, sport or online behaviour.
Questions to ask

“What part surprised you?”

“What would following Jesus look like tomorrow?”

Try today

Make a ‘faith action card’. Write one truth on the front and one action on the back. Place it somewhere the child will see before school.

Pray together

“God, help my faith grow strong roots. Show me how to follow Jesus at home, at school and with my friends. Amen.”

03Ages 9–12

Kingdom Builders

Deeper reflection develops biblical identity, wise decision-making and the courage to follow Jesus through friendships, pressure, responsibility and change.

“Be an example to all believers in what you say and in the way you live.”

1 Timothy 4:12

15–20 minutes · Explore Scripture · Reflect, discuss and lead

Parent guide: start today
Keep it age-appropriate
  • Read the verses in context and invite an honest opinion before teaching or correcting.
  • Discuss real pressures without demanding personal disclosure; make it safe to say ‘I’m not ready to talk’.
  • Let your young person choose the weekly action or lead the closing prayer.
Questions to ask

“What pressure could make this difficult?”

“What courageous choice would honour God?”

Try today

Use a three-line journal: ‘What I noticed’, ‘What I think God is teaching me’ and ‘What I will do’. Share only what each person is comfortable sharing.

Pray together

“Lord, help me know who I am in You. Give me wisdom, courage and integrity in every choice I make. Amen.”
