Psalm 90 asks for God’s favour and for him to establish the work of our hands. The prayer recognises both human effort and our dependence on God for lasting value.
Before beginning another week, examine the commitments already filling the calendar. Ask whether the work honours God, serves people well and protects the faith, family and rest it is meant to support.
